In order to ensure a good community is maintained, certain rules and guidelines for all members to abide by.
In addition to following these rules themselves, it is a moderator’s duty to take proper action when a rule is disobeyed by a board member.
Moderator action may include issuing warnings, editing/deleting offensive posts, or banning an account.

The following are the rules which must be obeyed by all registered users of Edoropolis Emporium.
Violation of any of the following will give moderators the immediate right to edit your post and/or forum profile.
One may argue that these rules violate their freedom of speech. However, one always has the freedom to take their business elsewhere.

Please do not register if you don't plan to post at least once.
If you've been registered for over a month, but have not made a single post, your account is subject to deletion without warning.

Disobeying the following is frowned upon, but probably won’t result in an instant ban.

Usage of foul language is highly discouraged. - Remember that this is a forum for fans of all ages.
I personally despise profanity, but it’s unlikely you’ll be banned for using it, unless you go way over the top.
If you are linking to a website which contains profanity, please state so in your post.


Do not antagonize moderators or other members in your posts. - Repeated infractions are bannable. If you have a problem with another member, take it up with them personally, in a mature manner. In addition to this…


One-liner "put downs" such as "n00b!" and "Pwned!" are childish and immature.


Keep spam posts/randomness to a minimum, unless you’re trying to lighten the mood of an overly-tense thread.


Massive signature are a real killer for 56K users.
550 x 130 is max sig image size.
Your avatar and sig image filesize combined must not exceed 50KB.


Do not link to sites containing "ROMs" and emulators of video games and systems. - They're sorta illegal...
However, linking to the rom for the KNT NES game is okay, due to the original game itself no longer being distributed for profit.


Don't make topics just to advertise other forums. - Sorry!

Doing any of the following WILL likely result in the instant banning of your account!

Knowingly posting or linking to sexual content/hentai.


Registering for the sole purpose of advertising a non-SPC related website or product.


Intentionally creating a thread with the sole purpose of drawing negative attention.


Making inappropriate threats towards a board member.


Constant disobedience of moderator authourity.
